Sponsor Letter:
On April 21, 2007, Fayette Middle School will host Jason Currin's Ultra Terrific Udu
Xylorimba Tom Tom Gong-a-Thon, a unique event and the only festival of this caliber to take
place in Georgia. On this day hundreds of percussionists along with all their friends and families
will descend upon Fayetteville for a truly historical event that is sure to stay in the minds of
everyone involved for years to come. We would like you to be among the first supporters of an
event that will continue to bring together music students, educators and supporters year after
year.
Do you support…
- Music and the arts?
Your contribution encourages the growth, expansion and appreciation of quality music programs
in the school and in the community by introducing new possibilities and opportunities to schools
and their students. Jason Currin's Ultra Terrific Udu Xylorimba Tom Tom Gong-a-Thon is a
multicultural event focused on enhancing musical programs through the introduction of new
musical styles, ideas, instruments and performance methods and techniques.
- Young people?
You have a chance to make an impact in a young person's life by providing musical
opportunities not offered in regular band programs. This festival is a positive and educational
activity that brings together the whole family, and rewards hard-working students with a chance
to share their achievements with an audience.
- Community?
You have the opportunity to promote yourself or your business as an advocate of the arts and
education in your community. Fayette County schools have a long tradition of musical
excellence in the schools, and the area is home to many gifted percussionists. Without proper
performance venues these percussionists will go unnoticed. This music festival is a forum
designed to showcase the community's local performers while simultaneously creating a learning
environment rich in talent and diversity to help propel students to the next level.
If these issues are important to you please show your patronage by supporting Jason Currin's
Ultra Terrific Udu Xylorimba Tom Tom Gong-a-Thon. You and your company's staff will be
recognized by your clients and the public as a leader, committed to music and arts education and
its role in the community.
Where will your money go?

- Instruments: rental and transportation of instruments
- Venue: facility rental and cleaning fees
- Audio/Video: technicians and equipment
